Technical advantages

As modular assembly system our single-seat program offers the possibility to combine different valve elements.

Because of their construction our valves got the American 3A-standard-application. The seat for the upper body sealing shows the necessary incline and the sealing reaches to the product area. There is no dome/cupola in the valve body which would be difficult to clean.

Valve body types

 

Leakage butterfly valves
manually or pneumatically operated

- for the reliable use as single valve or as valve manifolds in CIP-plants
- and for the safe separation and against mixing-up with harmful liquids

Funktion

The most important parts are the butterfly valve and the two small valves. The butterfly valve regulates the quantity of liquids. As soon as the process in the piping systems changes and the valve is opened, both the small valves are closed - liquid can flow.

Both the small valves are used for emptying the leakage space or for a separated CIP/SIP-cleaning: They are opened as soon as the butterfly valve closes - then the liquid can flow out of the leakage space without obstacle.

For to avoid soiling of the springs the spring space is sealed by an O-ring. The small valves open with a valve inner pression of more that 10 bars (safety measure). 

Connections

Only the body of the valve inner part is specially constructed. Other parts are out of series. Many usual connections are possible. Both the valve flanges mounted to the valve inner part are out of our standard valve program.

 

Sampling valves

All of our sampling valves are fitted with PTFE-bellows granting a hygienically perfect taking of samples.
According to customer's desire they are mounted in arrestable or lockable type.

For all valves is valid:

Parts in contact with product are made of 1.4404, higher alloyed stainless steels on request like 1.4435 or Hastelloy, other parts made of 1.4301.

The inner surfaces are standard 0,8 µm, better inner surfaces on request.

A progressive valve design, thousandfold proved in daily use, guarantees high flexibility within the individual compounds.
